How to Register/Deregister your product on Lion (10.7)

Click on the Finder Menu at the top of the screen and then on Preferences (If finder is not at the top of the screen click once in the middle of your desktop)

Click on the side bar icon and make sure that Hard Disks has a check next to it.

Close that window and click on the "File" menu then "New Finder Window".

Locate the Macintosh HD under Devices

Hold Down the COntrol Button on your keyboard and Click on the icon and select "Get Info"

Click on the Lock icon on the bottom right of the window

Enter the password for your user and hit ok

Click on the plus icon under the name column

Click on the name of your user and hit select

Your user will show up as wheel, Make sure all the options says "Read and Write" Then click on the lock to Lock it
